The 15th annual Congress of EUROCHAMBRES, the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry opened in Paris on October 25-26. More than 500 representatives from EUROCHAMBRES affiliated and full fledged member Chambers, business, politics and academia. The Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was represented by Vice President Shota Makatsaria.
The following issues were discussed at the congress: The role of regions and local actors in boosting competitiveness on a European scale, promoting SMEs, Chambers role generally.
Pierre Simon has been re-elected as President of EUROCHAMBRES for a second mandate.
