Activization of German Business in Georgia

 

President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Kakha Baindurashvili held business meetings in Germany. Mr. Baindurashvili has conducted negotiations with the members of Bavaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Claus Hipp, the Honorary President of the Chamber.

The perspective of activization of cooperation between the Georgian and German business circles was discussed during the negotiations between the President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Minister of Economy of Bavaria.

In order to promote and sell the Georgian leather in the EU market, within the framework of the working visit Mr. Baindurashvili held the meeting with producers of leather goods, particularly with representatives of worlds leading Roeckl brand.

The negotiations with representatives of another internationally recognized brand New Yorker – producer of garment in Germany, was also held in order to promote realization of the Georgian wool in Germany and import of the German wool to the Georgian market.

A visit of the German businessmen delegation to Georgia in April 2012 was also discussed within the framework of the visit; an interest in conducting the Georgian Business Days in Bavaria on May was shown as well.

On January 31, 2012, Mr. Baindurashvili, the President of the GCCI took the floor at the meeting with the businessmen and spoke about the calendar of international visits and forums to be held in 2012. The calendar was drawn up by the Georgian Chamber of Commerce in order to provide the Georgian businessmen with detailed information on international forums and other events scheduled by the Chamber to be organized during the whole year.
